Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Kiyan Electric is an ESA-licensed electrical contractor with a master electrician on the team, WSIB coverage and full liability insurance. Every job is done to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Do I need an ESA permit for a panel upgrade?
Almost always, yes — service and panel changes require an ESA permit and inspection. We handle the permit and the inspection sign-off as part of the job, so you don't have to chase paperwork.
Can you install an EV charger on my existing panel?
Often, yes. If your panel has spare capacity we can add a dedicated 240V circuit; if it's tight, we'll either add load management or recommend a panel upgrade. We size it to your car and your home before quoting.
How long does a panel upgrade take?
Most residential panel upgrades are a one-day job once the permit and utility disconnect are arranged. We'll give you an accurate timeline with your estimate.
